It has been another very awesome week here in the office, but unfortunately, it will be my last! Presidente realized that having 8 missionaries in 1 ward maybe a little too much, and we were the first to go. My companion and I will still stay as social media specialists, however, we are getting moved to Zaragoza, a city about 3 hours west of Barcelona! I am super excited to live in a new city and get to know another place in this amazing country. However, I am very sad about leaving Barcelona. I hope to return someday.
This week we were super busy with making our Mothers Day music video. For some reason, Mother's day comes a week early here, but we wanted to make a special music video because we are testing the waters on trying different content to publish on our Facebook pages. We took the song from Phineas and Ferb, which talks about Mothers, and according to the Spaniards, is a very well-known song here in Spain. So we turned it into a music video, and if you haven't seen it, go take a look at my Facebook profile, it should be the most recent thing. It turned out super well, and it has reached over 12,000 people in just a few days! We are super happy with the video and super glad that it is reaching lots of people. I think we will be doing more of these so keep a lookout on our pages!
And if you don't think that's good enough, just in this past year we have had 10 baptisms that have just come from Facebook. In other words, God is working through Facebook! I truly love my assignment as a social media specialist because I see everything going on behind the scenes. I can testify that there is some serious work and diligence that goes into Facebook, but what I've learned that when we work with diligence, God makes up the rest.
